Next Sunday Ideas
The Next Sunday Ideas are an additional resource to be used in the FAMILIA Mothers of Young Children Program. It is a way to help prepare young children for the next Sunday's Gospel. All of the child's senses will be utilized as they examine and live out the Gospel message. the Next Sunday Ideas incorporate the PAR method of study, which stands for Plan Activity and Result. The Plan portion of the Next Sunday Ideas is found in a family prayer and the Gospel reading. The Activity is addressed with the entire family and helps to deepen the meaning of the Gospel as well as promotes an acute familiarization with it. The Result is found in the way the family formulates a commitment to the Gospel and lives it out during the week.
We highly encourage you to down load these pages and build them into your family prayer time. We hope that you will find some helpful ideas or at least a little inspiration that will assist you to teach the Gospels to your children.
