Meetings |
A FAMILIA session consists of three parts.
- 1. Gospel Reflection
- Reflection on the following Sunday's Gospel and developing a simple and concrete resolution to put the Gospel message into action before the next meeting.
- 2. Catechesis
- Briefly studying a small section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This provides an introduction for some participants and a review for others.
- 3. Document Study
- Listening and learning to what the Church teaches, especially as it applies to marriage and family life. Our objective here is not debate, but rather discussion, understanding and the sharing of this knowledge in our family life. Participants strive to live fully the Catholic faith in contemporary society.

- Take-Home Resources
- Because FAMILIA is committed to the development of each member of the family, there are also take-home resources called Here's My Plan! for the fathers and Next Sunday Ideas for the mothers.
The Here's My Plan! series offers fathers simple tips for self-formation and tools for leading the family. The Next Sunday Ideas series gives mothers fun and effective ideas to develop virtue, instill decision-making skills and study next Sunday's Gospel as a family.
