Material Studied

Family Life Teams study Church documents that apply to marriage and family life. They build a profound understanding of the dignity of the human person, the incredible riches of the sacrament of matrimony and the key elements for a strong and successful family.

Study guides have been prepared by theologians, lay and religious who hold Licentiate (STL), Masters (STM) or Doctorate (STD) degrees in Theology from institutions including the Anglicum in Rome and the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family in Rome and in Washington D.C.

Topics to be studied include:

Fathers as Christian leaders in the family and in society at large.
Developing a prayer life and persevering in the life of grace.
Living out our baptismal promises to the fullest.
God's plan for marriage and the family.
God's esteem for the dignity and vocation of motherhood.
