A Typical Meeting

The basic structure of the team setting is quite simple, but it is this simplicity that allows you to find what you are looking for.

Each team meeting has four main components:

  1. Gospel Reflection - Reading the upcoming Sunday Gospel allows you to stop and reflect on how God is speaking to you in your own particular situation.
  2. Catechesis - A brief review of a small section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church provides an introduction for some participants and a review for others. It helps you understand what the Church really teaches. Many have found this to be a huge help.
  3. Document Study - This is where the rubber meets the road. It is in this discussion that you find concrete ways of living a more joyful family life as concepts move from the head to the heart, becoming practical resolutions.
  4. Resolution- As a team the participants agree on a concrete way to live what was discussed. In this way they can immediately incorporate new ways of thinking and responding to the world around them. Since this portion is developed as a team, the members are able to encourage and support one another to incorporate real and lasting change.

Familia can help you be the family you aspire to be. Live the Splendor of Love.
